I work over night as a 911, police/ fire/ and EMS dispatcher and operator. I work for 8 hours ( 11p-7A ). Overnight I am constantly snacking and i drink way too many sodas. I do not get a "break" because the phones always must be manned and if the officers do not pick up food for me then I am bonded to our snack and soda machine. I always tell my self i am going to take a healthy snack w/ me to work, but I almost always forget. Usually due to I am in such a hurry to get out of the house because I'm running late. I know the best idea is to see a doctor for this question but I probably won't. So I am going to ask you instead. Do you think it would be worth a try to start taking an appetite suppressor before work?

  1. Stop making excuses for not doing the right thing.  You know drugs are not a desirable situation or you would not have asked.  Get your healthy snacks ready for the next night when you get home from work.  Don't take any cash with you and don't borrow any money from anyone.  This is your life we are talking about.

  2. Buy slimfast snacks. I was doing the same thing, and it's going to be difficult to eat small healthy snacks when your body is used to eating junk and drinking soda. You'll be super hungry and tired.I took appetite suppressants for about 2 1/2 weeks, drank tons of water and ate my slim fast snacks. now I don't need the suppressants and two slimfast snacks are just enough every 2-3 hours. I just shove like three of them in my purse. there's no getting stuff ready or preparing. I'm no longer craving the sweet things, and I've lost weight. It's like my body kinda reset it's self. You can do it without the suppressants, but it made it a little easier on me. I didn't get addicted, I don't have any horrible side affects...
