A question about blue eyes

Okay, so one of my best friends was born to a Japanese father and a fullblooded Lakota Sioux mother.

He has prussian blue eyes (that's like bluish grey)....and says he has no clue where they came from.

So, by my deductive reasoning....isn't it possible that his Japanese father has a European ancestor?

The inheritance pattern followed by blue eyes is considered similar to that of a recessive trait, however it is a polygenic trait (meaning that it is controlled by the interactions of several genes, not just one). So it is really complicated and there is no simple answer.
