A question about buying a used sailboat in the U.S. and sailing down to Costa Rica for marina life. How 2 do?

I am adventourus single, 64 and fit, experienced sailor and don't mind living under less than perfect circumstances in what many think of as confined quarters in a sailboat. I would spend a lot of time on land, etc. need to know what is involved on sailing down there. I will travel to the destination marina first to set up arrangements.

  2. I would volunteer as crew for a similar trip. The sailing magazines have a section of crew wanted for trips. Spinnaker Sheet is a magazine on the Chesapeake that has such a section.
