  1. If the black car doesn't turn on its headlights... sure.

  2. Yes, I believe that sighting a black car in darkness is the same as a white car in the snow or a gold/silver car in the sun. From my experience, your perception may be right on because I have been aware of that problem; I have taken a double take in those conditions when it is dark or light.

  3. No.

    Best to Worst for safety.

    Silver

    White

    Black

    Med/Dark Gray

    Light Brown

    Med/Dark Blue

    Medium Red

    Med/Dark Green

    Bright Red

    Dark Red

  4. Best response I can think of is ... Did your insurance company ask you the color of the car before quoting you a price?? I don't think there is any link to more accidents and the color of the car..

Only color related thing I have heard of is that RED cars get more tickets..

  5. I don't see color effecting a wreck at night, because you really can not tell the colors that well anyway. Thats what headlight are for.

Any bright colors get more tickets. Green would be hardler to see on some contry roads so that could be wrecked more. But i dont see a color being more pron to wreck at night over another color.

  6. No because unless the driver is idiotic enough to not turn on his headlights, you will see the car.
