A question about citation.. read details?

So I got stopped last night for speeding. I was going 21 over, but the cop only gave me a citation and a fine to pay, but no points.

My first question is are they going to contact my parents about my citation or no? I'm 18 by the way.

My second question is will my insurance rates go up for a citation even though I didn't get any points?

1.  they normally send you the fine thru postal mail.  If your DMV address is the same as your parent's address, they may find out.

2.  If no point, your isurance shouldn't go up.

Like the guy said before me. It comes in the mail and if you didnt get any points then your isurance wont go up.
