don't you hate it when people stay in your blind spot. I mean they just seem to linger there when they have plenty of space to move ahead but instead want to linger in the back corner of my car where I can't see them.

  1. Then change your mirrors to see them .. I read an article years ago about eliminating the blind spot by adjusting the mirror at about a 30degree angle outward (you won't see your car) to cover the blind spot

  2. Yes, it is an uncomfortable situation. Driving is all about situational awareness. Keep a mental idea where these cars are and know your options at all times.

  3. i don't think that half the people out there pay enough attention to where they are on the road in relation to other drivers unless they have an accident involving someone in their blind spot. Unfortunately not enough people know how to drive defensively. If you have side mirrors you can set them to show that blind spot ... or at lease most of it. ideally the car is in your rear-view mirror .. then as it leaves there the side mirrors pick it up then you get it in your peripheral vision. Its tricky but sometimes it helps to set things up that way. Bottom line is that you have to know where the cars are around you so that you decrease your chances of a problem.

  4. Yep......it happens all the time, I think that they are looking for a quick insurance payday........drive safe and watch out.
