A question about drugs please? help?

Question

my husband was a huge pot head when we got together

but i have broke im from that. his dad still smokes and i recently found it odd that my husband is being asked by his dad to buy him cold / allergie meds from walgreens about 2 times a month... the man isnt even sick when we take them to him. we were over there the other day and his friend stopped in to drop off some more meds! but we had just got him some less than a week ago. i dug a little deeper and found out from a friend of the family that my father n law was hard into meth.

what he does with his life doesnt concern me. but what does is that him and my husband have went back into the bed room and closed the door a few times. when i ask by hubby about it he tells me his dad needed to talk to him about something.

im worried... should i be? whats your opinion of whats going on?

i will be there to help my hubby no matter what but i need to know. when i asked him if hed ever tried or done meth he swore he hadent, but i just found out other wise from someone else?

i just want the truth...

This is a very honest answer- People take those pills when they do cocaine/ meth things like that. when taking these drugs sometimes it can make ur nose very stuffy, or very runny and these pills prevent this from happening. If you have ever been around people on meth you would recognize the sypmtoms and be able to tell if your husband is using.  The most common symptom is jumpieness I call it the can't sit downs.  Inability to sleep and extra activity.  You certainly need to talk to your husband about this as meth is high addictive and antihestimines are what meth is made of.  My guess if he and are going behind closed doors, it's not just for a talk.  It might be hard to get him to admitt to this you may have to catch him. Don't wait, get him help right away.  It's one of the hardest drugs to kick . For more info go to the link I posted.

some people use cough medicine for other purposes of making meth.  if its just a few bottles they arent making meth with it.  that requires a very lot.  a lot of cough medicines have DXM in it, Dextromethoprhan.  its a hallucinogen.  maybe he just likes to get high on that.  its a good combination with marijuana

this one is  hard---i have been around meth for years so i will tell you some truths from my experiences.   if a person is addicted, he can justify using it---it's just once in a while so what's the problem--i don't spend much on  it and can afford it so?---i never miss work and actually seem to work better on it so?----i just do it with my dad and we do talk then so i'm kindahelping him be being able to relate.---it doesn't affect my relationship with my wife so why tell her?she would just make a big deal out of it---and so on-----you  can get adicted very fast and if so--watch out----it's a different world  with their own rules

He's cooking Meth. The allergie meds are used as a base to make Meth. That's why there sold behind the counter at the Pharmacy. There is a max can you  buy per month so he's having you and other people buy them instead. Bad situation.

Yes, they are both doing Meth, They will try to lie, fool you, or anything to keep that habit. I know by personal experience when my hubby was doin it a few years ago, we lost everything we had and almost lost each other too. Please talk to him about getting some help. Tell him if he is not honest with you, the relationship is doomed. Hope this helps!
