  1. Light- doesnt have enough

    bland- to plain or simple

  2. bland food has no taste quality. like natural oatmeal, it only taste good if u add to it.  light food has little food quality, like salad with a pinch of salt and lemon. there is little flavor, but the taste of lemon is light but strong enough to taste traces of it.

  3. "light" is food that doesn't fill you up a lot like salad or such. Bland is tasteless food, something that is not seasoned enough.

  4. Bland is no salt or flavor or anything, it's just food. Light is "basic tasty" n doesn't weigh you down. Doesn't sit heavy on your stomach.

Example of bland would be rice with no salt or sugar or butter or cinnamon, just plain(not appealing).

Or a scrambled egg poached in water with no salt or anything. I'rd rather not eat it.

Salt is meant to enhance flavors so u just use a little. Your not really suppose to detect salt, just the flavor of the food its in.
