Question:

A question about hair color?

I recently dyed my hair to a medium ashy blonde color, and I just love it. I used a permanent color and I have read many times that if you continue to dye your hair using the same color over time, your ends will appear darker than the rest. I understand how this would happen, but my ends are currently bleached a light blonde, from a hair show I did about a year and a half ago. it doesn't look tacky, and it was done by professionals, but I am just wondering: if my ends are permanently light am I sort of exempt from this frequent color rule? Because I would love to keep up the vibrance of my new blonde.

Thanks for reading this and I would really appreciate answers from people in the industry. Thanks again!

  1. Yes... because the ends were bleached... they will stay blonde... the dark ends is refering to if someone had used a permanent color and that was all that had been done to the hair over time... your hairs history is different...

    I hope this helps:-))).

  2. just dye your other parts that color too

  3. Not exactly sure what you mean by 'Exempt', But If you mean whether you will have to recolor your hair...If it's bleached,..You will have to retouch up your roots..If it's colored, Hair color grows out, fades..So you'll have to do a All over color...So yes.

  4. iumm i dont thinks cuz u should jus try to dye it lighter tham

  5. use products that make your hair shinier to keep the vibrance and only dye the roots. you'll ruin your hair if you keep bleaching it.
