A question about haters?

Why do you think that word is tossed around so much? I mean do you automatically become a "hater" because you don't like something/one? I want you opinions on what makes one a hater, who you hate on and who hates on you?

HATER is just another of those dumb titles everyone seems to love to use these days....like "going green"..god I hate that (guess I'm a hater).

it slang so you have to forget the literal use of the word, a hater is anyone that put down another's  personal opinion ideals, style of dress etc. if you put down soemthing another person does says or wears or even how they look thatmakes you a hater

Jst someone who bashes another person without knowing them and they talk negative about the person!

Which is not nice!  If you don't have something new and positive to say about someone then there is no point in talking or bashing them for no apparent reason!!
