After you get your first positive opk and you bd on that day and two days before the day you got your positive and the next day but then you skipped a day and then bd on that day. Do you think its a good chance of the sperm catching the egg? Do the sperm suppose to be present before the egg is released?

  1. I use the test strips and they say that when you get a positive, you will ovulate in 24 to 48 hours so it sais to bd after 24 hours but no later than 36 once you get your surge. I got my positive on saturday night and sunday morning so I bd on friday, sunday and monday but the hubby is out of town now so i'm in the same boat as you...lol. It said sperm on average can live 1 to 3 days so hopefully you and I will both get our BFP very soon. Yes, the it is good to have the sperm present before the egg drops..being ovulation.
