A question about pitulitary tumors?

My mom found out she has one, and im wondering if there is anyway besides surgery to cure it? She is always tired and has terrible head pains, also she is starting to have some problems with her vision...How do they usually treat this?

Pituitary tumors are fairly common. About 15% of all adults having an MRI will be found to have some type pituitary adenoma - however many of these do not cause problems or are never properly diagnosed.
