A question about poetry. what do you think of the verses below...? (8 verses)?

Question

it's describing a battle scene:

Fingers "punch" while arrows storm

heads are crushed with helmets worn

firs feasts on bodies hewn

its black mist hides the light of morn

silence dies as men ride fast

while looking with eyes aghast

the twinkle of armour hurts the eye

and the great plain is grey and vast

i really like it. ^^ It has great description and excellent metaphors. The flow is very nice as well. =)
