  1. I would advice you to do the pregnancy test, you can get very cheap one for poundland or savers

    good luck

  2. It might be an idea to take a test to make sure, rather than worry about it.

You can buy them at chemists (instant answer) or you can get tested via your doctor (will have to wait a few days).

You are right, some women do get periods when pregnant.  It is also possible to not know you are pregnant until you give birth, but this is *very* rare.

  3. it would show up on a test

  4. it would show as a positive if you were pregnant.... so why not just take a test?

hope the result is the one you want good luck hun

  5. if you think you need to take a pregnacy test i wiuld take first response and but if you already got your period that means that the egg that would have gotten pregnate was thrown away, and if you are taking birth contorol or the morning after pill that might be the reason why your period was late and you are probly just getting yourself all worried about it so your starting to feel weird but i yhink everything is going to be fine

  6. Actually, it would show up on a test after 3 weeks.  But, if your period came then you probably aren't pregnant.  Take a test just to be sure.

  7. No.

You can not have periods while pregnant.  Some women have bleeding during pregnancy that they confuse with a period but it is not possible to have a period while pregnant.

    Read this:

Why You Cannot Have A Regular Period During Pregnancy

The pregnancy hormone completely prevents ovulation in the first place. Ovulation is required to have a period.

You cannot have a period while you are pregnant by the very biological definition and function of the two. Think about it!

Your cycle is what causes a period! Your body releases hormones during this cycle. Those hormones send signals to your reproductive organs to perform certain tasks. An increase in hormones causes an egg to be released from your ovaries. While it travels, a layer of blood and tissue thickens to protect the uterine wall. If the egg is not fertilized, hormone levels drop and you start your period as that extra thick layer of blood and tissue detaches itself and comes out.

While you are pregnant, your body focuses on providing a healthy environment for the fetus. Your brain sends signals to your ovaries to stop the cycle so that the baby can grow. As a result, hormones continue to build and rise for the next nine months because it can't drop.

If you continued to have a period while you were pregnant, it would be shedding the lining of the uterine wall. This lining is what helps to nourish your baby each month. So in biological terms, it makes no sense to have a period while you were pregnant and simply not possible. Therefore, the spotting or bleeding that you are experiencing is caused by something other than your period.

  8. could be but i doubt it, without trying to patronise, if u dont want to get pregnant use protection, and if you are trying, take a pregnancy test and if not try again .i had periods when i was pregnant but they were a lot lighter and stopped completely at 6 months. they came every 4 weeks on the dot and my doctor said it was not common but can happen. mine only lasted about 1 and half days compared to 3 days +, good luck if u are x x

Most women do not continue to have normal periods when pregnant. However, it is possible, though rare, to continue having periods while pregnant but the bleeding would usually be lighter and/or shorter than normal. If you are in any doubt, you should get a pregnancy test done at a local service, such as your GP or family planning clinic,

  9. you must kill the baby

  10. Hi if you have missed your period then the pregnancy hormone should be strong enought to detect that you are pregnant as it has stoped you period so you could test now and it would show up.

So I think its time you get a test and see, let us know
