  1. Don't do it!

You can be a good person without some ridiculous god ring.

  2. The ring is a reminder for you. A momento. I don't need a ring ot remind me that I am married but it commemorates the event. Same idea.

So just get a ring you like, and make your commitment to God but also share it with someone you will be accountable to. It should be someone who can help advise you as far as keeping out of situations that will make it difficult to maintain this commitment you are making to God and yourself.

  3. Just promise God.  You don't need a ceremony, or anyone around.  Just tell God.

  4. I give you two weeks

  5. Don't get the type they use in Alaska. Those don't work.

  6. doz r creepy incestual things that paedophiles tell their daughters.

  7. If you desire to be pure until marriage, do it for Jesus, and not for a ring. Look to Him for your strength, a ring can't help you! That's the same as Gods people making a golden calf to worship, while Moses was on the mountain.

  8. I don't understand this hangup Christians have with s*x outside of marriage. After all the bible doesn't forbid s*x before marriage. Why follow people who want to add to the Bible things which aren't there?

And to those who think that 'fornication" qualifies...

Check out what the word in the original greek and hebrew mean, and then go through leviticus very carefully. No where in the Bible is s*x before marriage prohibited.

  9. Not again...take the vow, make it with your lord, Good luck.

  10. no, anyone can have a purity ring and there is no special ceremony (unless you want to talk to your pastor about a small ceremony if you want one) but you dont have to have one. no special religion, its just a vow you make to yourself and if you want to, to god. the ring is just there to remind you of that vow.

  11. just ask your church...at my church we have a little servace

  12. Make sure you wear white.

  13. You don't need any kind of ceremony unless you want one - I recommend you get one from www.purityrings.com - they are very beautiful and come with a gift box, velvet bag and purity promise certificate you sign and put on the wall as well as a Purity Prayer Card. I got mine last year from there and wear it everyday. It reminds me of the commitment I made to God and my future husband. God Bless You for your choice!

And to those who say the bible says nothing about premarital s*x and/or how it's sexually immoral, here is a list of the Scripture that speaks of it:

    Acts 15:20

    Romans 1:29

    1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 7:2; 10:8

    2 Corinthians 12:21

    Galatians 5:19

    Ephesians 5:3

    Colossians 3:5

    1 Thessalonians 4:3

    Jude 7
