Question:

A question about "reincarnation."?

How would you explain your reason behind meeting someone for the first time and feeling like you've known them all your life?

And then there are others that you meet and don't like instantly upon meeting them?

Do you chalk this up to reincarnation?

Or just coincidence?

  1. personality

  2. I've never met someone for the first time and felt like I've known them my whole life.

Sometimes you meet someone and bond with them unusually quickly but that is circumstance and personality.

People you meet but don't like I would attribute to subtle body language, expressions, smells, gestures that maybe your subconscious picks up as being undesirable before you conscious mind has a chance to properly consider it.

  3. I think that has a lot to do with reincarnation.

I thought about kids that instantly pick up the ability to play a complicated piece of music, understand a foreign language or talk about having 'other' families.

I thought about when my son was small, he calmly explained to me that I was not his 'real' mom, she died in a car accident.   At the time I thought that was funny but what would make a 3 year old say something like that?  (I don't think he could have seen something like that on TV because we only could get 5 channels at the time and rarely watched it.)

I don't believe that coincidences happen as much as people think they do.

  4. personalit

  5. May be this is connected with  "meetings" in prvious life as this kind of spontaneous sympathy does not depend of usual things that connect people.

As for example when someone moves from a big city to a small town or village  he can be friend with some of local people even without they are not as him educated, with same intelect etc.- this  friendship  could not be explained, but it exists and is  kind.

  6. intuition:

direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process; immediate apprehension

  7. Hi Hedda,

Please allow me to start at your finishing question If I may.

There is no such thing as coincidence. Coincidence is a means to explain away something that is otherwise unexplainable to a closed minded individual.

Everything happens for a reason, nothing by chance.

As for reincarnation in itself, does not the holy bible very clearly state that, " You must be born again" and of course you will always hear the words, "Yeah, but what that really means is, it's talking about being born again of the spirit and not of the flesh. Well duh, reincarnation would be the birth of a persons spirit and soul, not their physical body as I fear that would make child birth a very unpopular activity, expecially for the woman.

All the major religions of the world speak of reincarnation as a reality and something we all experience but most do not remember until they have what you mention above. Their are many, many cases of people much like yourself who experience meeting someone and feel they have met before even though they haven't in this present lifetime.

In closing, there is much more evidence to support the reality of reincarnation than there is to prove it does not exist.

That in itself is a misnomer, in that reincarnation could be proved to exist, but their is no way possible to prove it does not exist, except in the minds of those that possess another phenomena knows as tunnel vision, or horse blinder vision.

    Excellent question,

    Sincerely,

  8. It's a combination of things.

We all have our particular smell.

Some smells mix - some don't.

We all have our own particular 'colour' (aura)

Again some mix - some don't.

Sometimes a person can remind you, sub consciously, of someone you disliked or liked when you were a child.

Then there is the personal choice. If you are of a Mediterranean background the chances are you will prefer darker people.

If you had ancestors from Sweden, you'll probably go for blondes.

Maybe your first sweetheart was dark with long hair. Sub consciously you may go for similar looking people.

    The list is almost endless.
