A question about raging war in Spore?

My friend tries to be a spore fanatic and thinks that I will believe everything I tell him, he said spore would be $235. Anyway, on Spore, if you are on the space stage, can you go to one of your friends cities on a planet if he told you exactly where it was, and they were online, and they have only recently started and there was only 3 of there creatures throughout the universe. Could I blow up 2 of them and abduct one and let it loose in the middle of space or something, would he then have to make a new creature?

No, Spore as of now is only a single player game.  All the creatures in the game were created by players, most of which who bought the creature creator, but the computer will be controlling them in the game.  The reason this is the case is because people would quickly achieve the space stage in probably 3 or 4 hours and then destroy everyone else who is just starting.  It wouldn't be fun for you to be in the tribal phase and then suddenly your planet gets destroyed.  You will, however, be able to compare stats online with how many planets you conquered, but as of now the game is only 1 player.
