i am looking to move about 100 miles away. i have checked online (realators and the local newspaper classifieds). i am not having very much luck. i feel my credit score is too low for a realator to approve. do private owners send applications via email if i request? does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. it really depends on if they have the capability or not - most private landlords will not have a full office and may not even have e-mail.  All you can do is ask.

As far as your credit score - again all you can do is ask - not everyone checks that.  It largely depends on where you are talking about.  Most places in most big cities will check, but alot of private people and small towns are alot more laid back about it.

  2. I email applications, but even private landlords are going to want to see your credit report to make sure you are not a flake.
