A question about studying abroad?

my college is offering a once in a lifetime chance for students to spend an entire semester (obviously the spring one) in England and studying there...

I'd really love to do it but there are expensive costs involves... my calculations tell me it'd cost more than $10,000...

I have some money that can go to that, but are there scholarships I can apply for that can provide the rest of the money?

  1. Yes.  Try googling study aboard scholarships and you will find a ton - just don't pay anyone to hook you up with a "guaranteed" scholarship - that's a scam.  Also, you know student loans from the government can be applied to study aboard right?  If you have a Perkins and a Stafford you may be able to apply up to $7,500 to the study aboard program.

  2. There are sites that you can ask for or make inquiries upon study abroad scholarships but just be sure their credibility if they are not scam you can search for their backgrounds and perhaps testimonials from others that already undergo within their service.
