A question about the 7th grade check up.?

My daughter is going in for her seventh grade check up this week. She is really nervous about what happens, and I dont know what to tell her. I cant remember what they did to me. Do they just do the normal stuff, or do they make you get naked??

I'm 13 going to the eight grade this year. As far as your daughters 7th grade check up, there going to check her weight, height, back structure,throat,blood pressure, hearing, maybe eye sight... Also they may ask for a urine sample.And for the naked part she not going to have to get completely naked but it does occur to take off her pants and underwear to check the gentile area to make sure everything is going the way it is supposed to be. She'll be asked if its ok for you to stay in the room. Before this happen she'll be asked questions if she having any problems or so. And tell her not to be nervous i was the same way.

ok soo here what they do at this check up their gonna make her get into a gown and when the doc comes in the'll start feeling around to make sure she has a no bumps or watever and then she will get a shot thats about it.... But they may have to look down there..... its kinda like a regualy check up after that

My son just finished 7th grade and he had his last year but he didn't have to take his clothes off. They did do some shots though. And talked to him about drugs and peer pressure.

My daughter just had hers.  She got her spine checked for scoliosis, the pediatrician just looked under her johnny to examine her b*****s for signs of puberty.  She asked questions about puberty.  The regular stuff like weight, height, temperature, listening to the heart and lungs, eye-nose-throat-ear exam... talked about her diet and how much excersize she gets... and she had two shots... one called Gardasil to help prevent HPV (along with cervical cancer), and another vaccine to help prevent meningitis.  She did not get asked to be naked.  This is what her check up consisted of last week.  She is twelve and going into the seventh grade.

i just had mine.

they make you sit on a table with your underwear and a hospital gown on.

they ask you about puberty and things, about eating habits, about sports, about trouble 'going', and about any habits you might have formed since the last checkup.

oh, and they may give her a shot. the most they can give you at one visit is 4, but they option it so you can only get 2 if you'd like. then you have to get the others the next year.

They didnt make me get naked they make you do a urine sample they give you shots for the meningitis thing they ask if you want the shot for the cervical cancer thing but you dont have to get it. They ask you questions like if you have had your period and thats about it.

My son is getting his physical for entering 7th grade also and must get a vaccine also.  Our doctor has never made him get undressed, they checked his eyes, ears, weight height, mouth, his reflexes, also i had them take his blood to check his cholesterol

I never even had a seventh grade checkup

I remember I had to get checked for scoliosis in school, but all we had to do then was wear a bathing suit top and then take off our shirts

They don't go downstairs, if thats what she's worried about.  Like, they can if you want, but its not necessary unless you think she's having s*x (it makes me sad i have to say that)
