A question about the boreal shield?

Can anyone please give me the answer to: the population of the boreal shield for each province ?

I don't want the population of each province.

I could not find anything province by province, just a total population. I did find a map of the boreal shield showing settlement patterns. According to the Canadian Environment website 10% of the population lives in the boreal shield making it 3,339,014. However during the last few years, due to a decline in forestry and mining, people have been migrating to the more southern sections of the provinces resulting in a decline in the boreal population.
