A question about the game "The Sims 2" for Windows?

Can somebody please tell me how many cds are included with the game. I am giving the game to my little cousin, bought the game a long time ago, and can't seem to remember. Can someone please help!? Thanks a bunch!

4 cds for original the sims 2.you use cd1 to play the game.
