I currently can play the chords A, C, D, E, and G. Are there any songs that I could play that only have these chords in them?

  1. 3am by Matchbox Twenty. Pretty easy, pretty modern. actually, alot of matchbox's songs are similar if you like them.

  2. pretty much 87% of pop music uses just these chords or less. thats why its cookie cutter b.s.  learn to shred songs that sing to both the heavens and h***s.

  3. The very beggining to Back in Black and alot of other AC/DC riffs

  4. Smoke on the Water is built over Gm and F so don't listen to the guy. There is C5, G#5 and G5 in chorus. The riff is best to learn as it is - i.e. double stops.

Knocking on Heaven's Door would work - you just need to learn Am. Learn minor chords as well because you won't get by with just major.

  5. go to ultimate guitar tab.com and look up songs you like with those chords.

  6. a number of songs, you can play time of your life by green day, semi charmed life by third eye blind, slide by goo goo dolls, wonderwall by oasis, any song by michelle branch.  they wont sound exactly the same as alot of these songs use slightly different voicings, but they will be similar enough for you to hear.

  7. Smoke on the Water. It's the same chords very easy and everyone recognizes it.
