  1. Well you can take the bassinet part out and use that as a crib if you want.  My daughter only slept in it until she was a few weeks old.  She might be getting to big for the bassient.

  2. look at your instructions, it should tell u the weight limit for the bassinet part; i think ours is25 lbs...

  3. There should be a weight limit listed on the tag of the pack and play. Use that as your guide. However, I put my son in his crib after he was about six weeks I think just so I wouldn't get to clingy with Daddy just deployed. I knew if I didn't move him then, he'd still be in my room. I just purchased a really good baby monitor.

  4. My baby is 3 months old and he still sleeps in his pack-n-play.  I don't feel comfortable putting him in his room yet, and the crib wont fit in my room.  He has been fine so far.  Good luck with your new baby :)

  5. Our son slept in his pack and play from day one until he was about 15 months old.  He slept in the bassinette part until he start to sit up on his own around 7 months (when it became dangerous that he would sit up and pull himself over the edge).  Do check the weight limits on the bassinette though as our guy was tiny and not anywhere near the weight limit.

We travelled around a lot and it worked great to have that with us.  He was familiar with it, easy to transport and he slept in it fine.

When we finally bought a house we got him a crib (the kind that transforms into a toddler bed, which he is now in).  Now that my daughter has been born, she's sleeping in the pack and play!!
