A question about the pill......

I had a baby 18 weeks ago. My husband and I are ready to try for a 2nd baby. I went off the pill 4 days ago and got my period today. Will I possibly be able to get pregnant in the 1st month? How long does it take for the pill to wear off after you stop taking it?

i was told by my doc it takes 3 to 5 months to get rid of the pill in you system but its different for everyone cause like the answer above u can get pregnant on the pill too

Even while you're on the pill you can get pregnant...So I'd think immediately. Ask a doctor if you want to be sure.

I've only been off the pill for a month and I'm pregnant already...

It is possible to concieve right now with the situation you have but your chances will be a little slim.

Generally it takes about 3 months  to return to your natural ovulation cycle after being on the pill! mind you it also differs depending on what pill you were on.

I know many people who got pregnant immediately after stopping the pill. I've actually heard that it can increase your chances of getting pregnant because your hormones are out of whack. Good luck!!
