A question about the program GIMP and flash drives.?

Okay, so I think that the answer here will be 'No', but I'm going to ask all the same.

Can you download the program GIMP onto a flashdrive, plug said flash drive in and use it like that? Or do you have to download it onto your computer? I also don't know if they would allow you to put GIMP on a flashdrive or if it would even work or if the program would get messed up. >.< I'm not all that great at computers....
