A question about the upcoming TWILIGHT moviee :)))?

if you are a twilight saga addict like me, then please help :

i was on the twilight movie website, and it said the release date for it was NOVEMBER 21, 2008. but in the actual trailer, it says DECEMBER 12, 2008. which one is correct?

Stephanie Meyer and the official website for the movie have the release date as November 21, 2008. Since they are as official as you can get I would go with that date. :)

November 21st is correct, because Twilight scared Harry Potter off it's date.  Warner Brothers was so worried about Twilight stealing it's money that they postponed for the summer.  Hope this helps!

November 21, 2008 is correct.

The original release date was December 12, 2008, but it was moved by the studio to November in order to take advantage of an opening in the upcoming fall release calendar that was caused by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price being moved to the summer of 2009.

The new release date for TWILIGHT allows the studio to both bring the film to the written-series' enormous fan base sooner, and to present the film in more theatres prior to the holiday movie-going season where traditionally screen time for any popular film is limited.

"When Warner Bros. decided to move HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE to the summer of 2009, we saw a unique opportunity to slot in our film which has been gaining tremendous awareness and momentum over the past several months," said Rob Friedman, Co-Chairman and CEO of Summit Entertainment. "We by no means are trying to fill the shoes of the incredible POTTER franchise for 2008, rather we are just looking to bring the fans of Stephenie Meyer's incredible book series the film as soon possible from a programming perspective."

It was previously 12.12.08, until they moved it to a month eariler.

They moved the Twilight movie date up because of Harry Potter 6 being moved to next summer.

The release date is November 21.  Harry Potter was pushed back until next summer and Twilight got it's release date.

November 21st is correct. The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film as you probably know has been delayed to next July 17, 2009. The directiors of Twilight decided to fill the spot HP left open. So now it's coming out November. I'm upset because I was rele rele looking foward to the HP and the HBP to come out =[[[
