  1. It's all about the way it appears, i think

    cute hair dude!

  2. Why do you worry about who will claim victory? I don't think one can claim victory while still being occupied. The day that there is a separate Palestinian State, a Separate homeland for the Palestinians also, I will party for two weeks and celebrate, and also give you my personal promise never to come back to Israeli travel. :) I will only go to the Palestine Travel section. Pray for the day that all will have peace, and all will be a fair peace. Cheers!

  3. So much in that part of the world depends on "saving face."  Only by stepping up attacks before a cease fire can Hamas "save face" in terms of its image with its people and with the world.  Israel knows this, and while they must respond to save fade they are refraining from a full-scale attack on Gaza.  Rice has to pressure Israel on the settlements, and Israel must eventually comply, for Abbas and the Fatah to gain image points with their people.  Israel has to be somewhat stubborn to prevent a total right wing revolt.  Thus is the convoluted politics of the region, the politics of dealing with Arab culture.

In short, yes Hamas will claim victroy.  But let them.  Just get the rocket fire and terrorism to stop, then Israel will have no need to launch defensive and preemptive attacks.

  4. Rice said  today building illegal settlements on Palestinian land is an obstacles to any peace in the Middle East.

  5. Yes, historically they have claimed false victories over everything because of their "fight" mentality and they'll continue to do it until they're removed of their weapons and ability to fight.

This is Hamas' interview regarding the last round of talks regarding cease fire, which is western term by the way, it's actually "calm" in Hamas' terms which is only an ebb in hostilities to "recover" and plan the next move. http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/1750.htm

Everyone remember when Palestinians entered Gaza what ensued shortly after?  They declared "victory!" because Israel disengaged from Gaza.  Doesn't matter why Israel did it, peace isn't a word to Hamas, it's all just a military battle with calms and other "tactics" to ensure victory.

Really what needs to be done is to remove their all of their ability to fight.  As long as they continue to do so they will continue to keep discrediting any peaceful move by western world and Israel and attribute it to their fighting and resistance.

There are windows of opportunity for this. With Abbas sitting over in WB "doing nothing" (their words not mine) while he got call from his Fatah members in Gaza to "do something" to prevent the Hamas violence against them and Condi pressuring for whatever well what's taking so long? We saw a violent overthrow of Fatah in Gaza by Hamas and their violence continues. Anti-Hamas people are kidnapped, tortured and restricted to their homes.  People are not free to think otherwise of peace efforts when their Hamas rulers don't have peace in their vocabulary but "tactical calms" and "victory" instead.

  6. No real cease fire will be reached

  7. of course they will,

they demand land from israel for peace, and take credit.

    they violate the agreement

the demand more land for peace, and aid and supplies, and take credit for it.

    then they violate the agreement.

they kidnap israeli soldiers and shoot qassam rockets at civilians, and then they condemn israel for responding.

in summary, anything good is from them,

anything bad is Israel, funny isnt is?
