A question about trophies...?

I notice once in a while on craigslist.com that people

give away trophies. I have no idea if they are giving away their own trophies or their childrens... but it made me think of this question.

Would you ever give away or sell your child(rens) trophies?

I'm like you. I would never give away things like that. I gave my children most of their trophies, ribbons, and medals when they married. I kept a few because I was afraid they wouldn't take care of the ones gave them and I knew they would regret it when they were older. When I'm gone and they clean out my belongings I hope they are pleasantly surprised.
