  1. Id say night.. because its usually after supper when you gain the weight, because you're in all night.. So its usually best to go a few hours after dinner.

  2. probably in the morning, so that you are all pumped up and awake for the day

  3. Both.  Although if I had to pick one, it would be morning.  Because then you just get it out of the way and you don't worry about it all day.

  4. either way, personally I choose night, I get a little spooked sometimes and that makes me run faster and harder

p.s. good for you for supporting the troops

  5. morning or afternoon, not night time

  6. The morning! This gets your metabolism going which makes it easier to lose weight throughout the day and wakes you up. It also wakes you up and gives you a boost for the rest of the day.

    good luck!

  7. best in the morning. It'll wake you up and running before bed will give you an adrenelin rush and not let you sleep. I know. I've tried.

  8. Running in the morning. You a fresh and able to run more

  9. I have also switched to AM running. Make sure you have a good snack at bedtime the night before. The 1-2 hour rule doesn't really apply to morning running, if you can tolerate it, a few swigs of juice or Gatorade and a power bar/cliff bar (your choice) should get you going. I usually suffer from horrible side stitches if I eat too soon before running but, in the morning I can eat this combo and head right out the door.

  10. I think it's mostly personal preference.  I run in the evenings because that's the only time I have for ME.  However, with the army you can pretty much plan on doing PT in the morning so you would probably be better off conditioning yourself as much as possible as they do.  Most army guys are out PT'ing around 6-8 am.  I would plan on doing other things as well besides the running...pushups and situps as that's what they are typically tested on.

  11. Better to go in the morning.  By the way if you realy join the army DONT GET SHOT!! Cant serve your country dead

  12. morning...just like Rocky

(not at night...good luck going to bed)

  13. its best to run in the morning, it will get your energy level up for the day, but if you run before bed, you won't be able to fall asleep, beleive me i've tried it

  14. Both would be good but before you run in the morning stretch so you could run again in the afternoon

  15. im pretty sure the morning????

  16. Run when ever you feel like it. I am not a morning person and it takes all the inner strength that i have to pull my butt out of a nice warm bed to venture out on a chilly morning, however it is peaceful and if you have to go to work aftar your run you will feel like you have more energy. I prefer to run afterwork I even run at night but, it tends to get me stirred up and I have trouble getting to sleep. this is one of the draw backs to getting an intense aerobic workout too soon to bed time.  Short answer: Run when YOU want to.

  17. Which ever is best for you and fits your schedule the best.  Are you a morning person? if not then you might prefer to run at night.  Do you like to go to bed early? then you might want to run in the morning.

If it were me i would pick morning because I can get it out of the way and it wakes you up.  Just make sure you eat before you go!

  18. In the morning is prabally the best time 2 run so U can become morer awake and here in California it is very hot anytime except in the morn' although it's still kind of hot?!?!

  19. in the morning because it starts your metabolism working faster for the rest of the day which means you will gain less weight from what you eat cuz you will burn the calories faster

  20. morning is good if you want to loose weight because you haven't eaten anything yet so you are working off your stored fat. but if that doesn't matter then whatever you are more comfortable with
