Are heaven and h**l considered physical locations, alternate dimensions, or are they just symbolic places used by prophets etc to make their point?

  1. both spiritual &physical places.... but yeah..  of course physical...

  2. No, according to Christians they are real places..Places that only the soul can go..not exactly physical

  3. C.S. Lewis thinks h**l is just the absence of God, while heaven is the fullness of God. So for him, it is an abstract spiritual place.

  4. I consider them to be alternate dimensions.

  5. Those places might not be physical as we humans perceive.

In the Bible it is written of heaven as something beyond any ones imagination.

Once a journalist was interviewing a tribal chieftain. The chieftain asked the journalist how much his camera costs and how much his spectacle costs. The journalist answered $ 400/ and $50/.

The chieftain asked how much buffalos he need to pay to buy them for him.

The journalist converted the dollars into Buffalo terms. He was ready to pay him.

He bought them to decorate the tresure chest in his thatched 'palace'.

But the journalist had to pay double the amount to take it to his place. Later he found he was still a gainer with that much buffalos.

The chieftain or thr tribal man could not conceive the value or use of modern appliances. Man might not be able to understand if things are not spoken to him in 'baffalo' terms.

  6. Yes, other dimension.
