A question for Democrats and individuals who want more Government regulation?

If the American system is so fallible, how did all these Democratic politicians rise to their wealthy and esteemed positions. Why do they want to change the rules for all of us now that they are in the highest levels of our society. Does anyone really believe that Democrats will improve your chances of increasing your wealth or status in your life time?

It would be nice if they could administrate all the regulations they've got.  Like anti-trust and consumer rights etc. etc.  Some non-political appointments in the US attorney's office might help.  Then they need to get rid of the regulations they can't possibly enforce - like the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Wealth and status aren't the most important thing to me. You don't explain what "more Government regulation" you are talking about. I will be happy to argue specific details but I won't assume what regulations you are talking about. Some government regulations are stupid, some improve/protect the quality of life for EVERYBODY. Environmental regulations are a case in point. All the bmoney in the world means nothing to people who don't have clean water to drnk and clean air to breath.i

You have to get into the club before you can dismantle it from the inside. And ask yourself, who do you trust: people who are willing to risk their own wealth or those wanting to keep society top heavy?

Please stop pretending that the American democrats are communists. It's foolish.

I don't want representive govt anymore either but rather "well manage fire at will employees at every level!"

Rule & control starting with "MONEY" should be totally under the power of the legal citizen majority along with employee lawmakers and business etc.

Why are you asking Democrats?

They are not the ones that have made government bigger;

They are not the ones that ruined our economy;

They are not the ones that destroyed America's political influence in the world; and

They are not the ones that have attacked the US Constitution to take away our freedom and liberty.

The Republicans are the ones who committed those crimes - so why don't you ask them?

Historically the economy has done better with a democratic president so I'm not worried.
