A question for EU citizens.?

I read the following article about the willing of Tony Blair to become President of the Council.

As citizens of European Union we will be asked if we want him or not or they will put him without asking/voting?

Personally i don't want this man to become President of the Council.

It's not good for EU to be like USA and with a man who is totally the same with the US politics.

And why we have to accept him and not other politicians?

There are 27 member-states why we have to accept the ex Prime Minister of UK ?

In realty, Europe now is not as it was before, and we must fight for a united Europe...

Now if he wants to be President, let him be,to tell you the truth people are not those who decide today, we just say an opinion, but there are others bigger than us...
