A question for Islamic extremists...?

What do you want? And how does the bombing of more innocent bystanders accomplish your goal? How does the little girl who has her leg blown off help your cause?

I mean I know there's probably no Al-Qaeda operative monitoring Yahoo Answers but if anybody knows anything that may shed some light on what it is these 'people' are trying to achieve then please say.

  1. True Muslims would say those who use suicide bombing to meet their maker isn't a true disciple of Islam. They are correct because Islam is a religion of peace not war. Those who use terrorism in the name of any God do not follow ANY world religion only evil and maybe the devil (if he/she exists).

  2. Their goal is not "the same as any terrorist"

The terrorists in northern Ireland wanted to unite the north and south, they're are many reasons for terrorism, oh and how many Islamic extremists do you think there are on Y!A

There GOAL was to unite Ireland, their means were murder.

The UVF have got what they want through violence and terrorism. Each terroist group has it's individual aims, terrorismis the means by which they do it.

  3. What do they want?

Well here is the answer - if you do not believe what they believe,if you do not live your life the way that they believe you should, if you are a member of any other sect or religion who is unwilling to bow to their superiority, then it makes no difference what your age of s*x, you are nothing more than dog s**+te on their shoes.

If they then eliminate you, then they will have less dog s**+te to stand in.

However, please dont believe that it is just the terrorists who feel this way, there is a certain religion who's teachings fuel the fires of terrorism

and that religion is ever more prevelant in this county.

  4. The extremist would chant ''God is Great'', ''Death to the Infidel'' whilst reading your question.

The question would not even be recognised.

  5. Their goal is the same as the goal of any terrorist, to cause fear, pain and suffering to people and claim it is the name of religion or cause.

All they succeed in doing is creating fear and ignorance towards their religion or cause.

Rory - 'Their' end result is the same, the IRA caused suffering throughout England and N Ireland, the same as ETA has done in spain and Al-Qeda has done.

Terrorists cause suffering because they arent getting what they want

Why should anyone give into this?  The IRA havent got their cause have they?  As far as I was aware N Ireland and Eire were still different countries

  6. Firstly, there is no excuse for the killing of innocent civilians, period.  However, the anger that a lot of these extremists have, (when one is educated about what they are angry about) is legitimate.

These are people, for the most part, who grew up in some sort of traumatic environment, be it a war zone, occupation, economic imbalance, etc.  More specifically, the anger comes from an injustice experienced in one of those categories that I listed.

People like Osama Bin Laden, are extremists just for the sake of being extreme, he belongs to a wealthy Saudi family so he didn't experience any hardships. Nevertheless, he's intolerant to other views, he believes all books should be destroyed and that the only thing that should be read is the Qur'an, this is, I believe, a partial definition of an extremists.

People like him are people who, I believe, are naturally extreme, this is the minority of "Muslims". The other type of extremists, were moderate Muslims, but their extremism was nurtured, created, fueled by injustice, this is a very important point, and this is also how extremists like Osama recruit people.

Al-Qaeda knows along with all almost all scholars, which is unfortunate, and an inconvenient truth, a lot of the West's foreign policy towards the Middle East, especially the Arab and Muslim word, is unbalanced, unjust, hypocritical, and full of double-standards.

But extremists like Osama knows the hardships and the injustice the people in the region face, and uses their anger, their emotion, their sorrow, for his own exploitation to achieve his recruitment goals, and ultimately, his Socio-Political goals, do you understand what I'm saying?

The unjust issue involving the Palestinians, the suffering of the Iraqis, the support by the U.S. and other western governments of oppressive dictators in the Arab Countries and or Muslims countries.

An example: Someone in let's say Palestine, hears all this talk from America, and Israel, for example, talk about Muslim extremists and terrorists, and they are extremists and terrorist because they blew up a cafe shop. And than, the next day this person has his mother killed in their home, by and Israeli aerial bombing because it was an assumed "terrorist" location, and then he hears those two countries repeat the same thing about terrorism and such. How do you think he will react? And on top of that, he knew that his mother was killed by American made weapons; given to Israel for free.

Another example, would be one that recently came out of Egypt.  In Egypt the current President has been President for over 25 years, he has openly admitted to tampering with votes during elections, as well as other offenses he has committed.

Nevertheless, there was a young man, who wrote a blog speaking against the Egyptian administration, he was tracked down, brutally beaten by the police and taken to jail, where he as been in jail ever since (about 2 years now). Now contrary to what people may think, that these types of governments are a representation of the Muslim political system, or the Islamic culture breeds dictators, this is false.

The administration in Egypt, as well as most of the Arab heads of state, behave this way, including Saddam. One might think as to why they would not get rid of this government like they did with Saddam, simply put, because Egypt is a client state to America, meaning they give America what they want, Saddam didn't, that's why he was overthrown, simply put.

Muslims know this, and this drives them crazy. They hear the west talk about freedom, and democracy, whilst they see the Egyptian government suppress freedom and democracy with full support from Western countries, particularly America, i.e., military, economic, and political aid.

Consequently, in short, the violence they commit, is so that they can bring attention to their suffering, or by attacking a particular place, it might make those countries stop attacking them directly, or indirectly.

There is a lot more that goes into this, but I hope this makes things a bit clear, and I apologize for the long response.

  7. They lost sight of their goals long ago.

  8. there just terrorist *** holes. im sure thers a little kid in iraq wondering the same thing about americans.

  9. The way I see it is this:  any publicity to their cause is good publicity.  It makes people ask questions - they do say the Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion now.  In mho that is because there are so many immigrants escaping from their homelands, but hey, what do I know?

Another attitude is contempt or arrogance.  We are not people, not worthy, just infidels, so what does it matter if we die sooner than we anticipated, anyway?  We won't get into paradise, and if, by some accident, some Muslims get killed, well, they're doing them a favour by hastening their entry into Paradise.

Thirdly, their God is a vengeful God.  Unfortunately they see him as incompetent and helpless, unable to fight his own battles.  He needs frail man to wreak vengeance on his behalf.  So they breed fear,, and hope that everyone will submit through fear.  A religion based on fear is no religion.

And hatred or an eye for an eye.  They feel for their Muslim brothers in Palestine, Afghanistan etc etc.  And take up arms to avenge them.  Again, their god is incapable of doing this himself.

Basically, they believe what they want to believe.
