  1. Independent Fiscally conservative, socially liberal.

Will most likely vote for Obama, I like Biden and I like the idea of a President who will TRY to remedy some of the socially irresponsible and fiscally atrocious actions of the last eight years.  Biden bring experience to the table, though I too wish Clinton had been on the ticket.  Though I think it more of a strategy that she wasn't.  One historical event in an election process is risky at best.

McCain VP choice is a way to him to have a historical ticket as well.  It seems rather watered down in genuine choice.  He is targeting the female voters who are still POed that Hilary wasn't on the ticket.  A blatant and obvious sad attempt.

  2. Independent but usually vote Democrat.  I'm rather Liberal.  I'll be voting for Obama even though I wish he had chosen Clinton for his running mate.  I think he's just what this country needs; he doesn't have a strong background in politics so he hasn't been corrupted yet.  Also, I'm in the military and I like the fact that he wants to get us out of a pointless war.

I don't know anything about McCain's VP...but I think he chose a woman to kind of 'even' the scales.

I don't really like McCain, to me he seems like another 'W' and that's the LAST thing this country needs.

  3. Independent. Views? Too early to tell, who would I vote for depends on where they stand on the issues, and neither candidate goes with them, as for McCains choice? Mom and I like her. It actually was a smart move.  The woman has more brains than Obama! Prefered Ron Paul (I think that was his name) Obama scares me more than McCain. Hope this helps.

  4. I personally have not decided on who I will vote for, but I am not really happy with Palin in the backup role for McCain. Obama seems sincere and McCain has a lot going for him too.

    Peace...life is good!

  5. Independent. Fiscally conservative, socially liberal.

Obama. Because he comes closest to being reasonable on issues that I hold near and dear, and because I see him as a leader who can head this country back in the right direction. He seems to understand the problems that many of us face today and seems to genuinely want to work on them. That and I despise McCain for pooh-poohing s*x discrimination in the workplace and for helping that uberlame effort to tell doctors they don't have to prescribe women birth control.

VP choice - EW! She's a creationist, right-wing, pro-life screechy and inexperienced pick... what possessed him? She's nothing like Hillary!

  6. Conservative Democrat. Voting Obama, as I did in the primary.

I extremely dislike John McCain and REALLY dislike his VP choice.

  7. I don't like McCain because he wants to build 100 new

nuclear power plants in the USA, and I feel they are very

unsafe and toxic... of course Bush sold 300 nukes to

other countries, and as Chernobyl proves, when they

blow up, the radiation spreads pretty far anyway...

Also McCain is more of a war-head, and as we all know

a lot of women and children die when the bombs fall.

So I prefer Obama although I'm sure he's far from ideal.

But I can't vote anymore...  I was forced to give up my

right to vote when the county government began to use

the voter registration listings to call people for jury duty.

It's a great hardship for me to do jury duty, so it was

necessary for me to have my name removed from the list

    of registered voters.

  8. Independent or Democrat depending on the day. oyyyy this country. Liberal but I think about stuff LOTS. McCain I sense a wrongness not so much with him but the people he hangs with.  Their lack of compassion and WANTING to understand things bothers me, but i seem to be finding that A LOT these days. People that are religious a lot of times are not spiritual (in my opinioon). There's tooooo much indifference going on in this society. The problem I have with McCain is he doesn't tell it like it is, and that's a shame b/c he's a POW veteran (bla bla bla) yet he does things that make people cringe. What he just did electing that VP candidate was a slap in the face to all women. She's very NEWWWW AND UNKNOWN.  I also feel she's lacking understanding and compassion (I get the whole thing about abortion, but you're against it when someone rapes you and gets you pregnant WOWWWWWWWW. And she has guns and is part of that club, which statistics show most incidents of gun shootings happening in the house  and with kids is b/c they're finding loaded guns not properly put away. Besides if you're Christian is says in the Bible thou shall not kill, so why do you need guns??? So spiritually seeing peopel getting shot and being afraid of peopel b/c they could have a gun and go off makes me anti gun (or at least have stronger regulations. like at gun shows especially. ) Columbine and all this other stuff would have had a stronger resistance of happening if guns weren't so freely available.

Also very offended by that remark when Hillary was running about "go iron my shirt", that set women back A LOT to have women laughing at that (republican independent or democrat) no minority should have laughed at that comment given the history of women.

Education- I think a lot of the Republicans seem not interested in listening and understanding what's going on with "schools" and why should they, becausse their family's go to private schools. So they don't see that this person might be poor and have to work so they don't have time to really study b/c they could get kicked out of their house. So and plus Obama is for pay raises.

    Peace and Love

(oh notice the democrats have a plethera of different variety (race, s*x, age, orientation, class (income levels) etc vs. Republicans (mostly whit men) given the history of our country I think that makes people cringe just seeing that.

I'm watching Barak and his history now on CNN (just saw McCain's) and there's a peace and wanting to help out everyone moreso than a clique of people so yeah definitely Obama
