  1. yup Herme's good.

Try Ladurée, they make the best macarons in the world, and other cakes too. If you just buy the cake, there will be a long queue so ask for a table, that will be quicker and you'll enjoy the best tea

Traditional french cakes are éclairs au chocolat (or coffee), millefeuille, religieuse or Paris-Brest, but there are lots of differents tasty cakes too^^

  2. Herme is a good one. You have also Dalloyau, Ladurée and Lenotre.

But you can find also really good pastries and cakes in "boulangerie". The place where you buy the bread. Some of them make good pastries.

  3. cakes, gâteaux ?

that depend, in great "pâtisseries" or in simple "pâtisseries" as make at home

  4. Hi,

    Herme's cakes are very good.

You should try Gerard Mulot cakes too! And of course Dalloyau pastries.

If you're looking for a cake to take away easily (by train or plane) you can buy some at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet.

    Enjoy :)
