A question for all expirenced cheerleaders! 10pts?

I did gymnastics for 2 years and dance for 4 years.

I decided to tryout for my schools cheerleading squad.(Middle School)

What do I need to do to prepare for tryouts?

Gymnastics wise I can't do a back handspring or above in level stunts.

I also can't do (i have tried for months) a hurkie or toe touch.

Anyone have any tips for me to get them?

Tryouts are ina few weeks.

Im afraid I might not make it!.

I have talked to previous members and they say to fucus mre on individual stunts and not so much on gymnastics

  1. ok  i  have  been  a  cheerleader  for  five  years  and  i  am  captain  of  my  8th  grade  sqaud.ok since  you  have  dancing  exsperiences  it w ill  help u  alot!!!!but  to get  your  toe  touches  do  crunches  they  help  strenthen your  core  muscles  and  we  use  our  core  muscles  to  help get  us  off  the ground!i  do  it  all  the  time!

  2. Just practice what you do know, and try to learn those other things, but don't injure yourself in the process. stretch every night.

  3. practice stunts, if your going to b a flyer, practice balance.

    dont give up on the jumps,
