  1. The situation as you have it setup within your suggestion - is called blackmail.  'If you don't do (fill in the blank) - I am going to do (fill in the blank).

Manipulative situation to be sure - and clearly no reason that I should believe anything that the other says considering that they are showing such a low/no moral standard.

  2. I'd fake it.

  3. Why does it matter, i'm either going to get sick, or a chicken is going to die. I'd rather go with not being sick! Plus I wouldn't let them kill the chicken!!

  4. no i wouldnt

  5. I would immediately thereafter know how stupid they were are ignore them.

Dealing with morons is like training dogs. If I let one manipulate me, they will learn that they can get away with it and do it again and again and again.

I guess that applies to kids as well.

  6. Although I really dislike the idea of eating animals, especially those that have been kept in  cruel way, I think that if it was a question of saving another chicken's life then I would eat the dead chicken. I would rather eat a dead chicken and save another than be left with 2 dead chickens, one of which I as-good-as killed.

  7. I would question the sanity of the person saying it.

The implication here is that the person saying this was going to kill a chicken if I didn't eat some chicken, is that right?

I would tell them I don't give in to blackmail. If I could be @rsed I would explain that the responsibilityy for the chicken's death would be theirs, not mine.

And I would tell them to go away and leave me alone.

  8. No i would never do it :(

    It is very sad.

  9. no i wouldnt.

    it is the principle.

if your going to make exceptions why start in the first place.

  10. You are assuming that all vegetarians are that way because of the morals of eating something that was once alive.

There are many reasons people become a vegetarian. Some people have to for health reasons. Some for environmental reasons, some for religious reasons. Some for combinations of several reasons.

  11. That doesn't really work. Somebody else will probably eat the chicken later anyway. Can you absolutely assure this chicken will have 24 hour guards? Who is going to pay for that?
