i work in a good quality preschool all the teachers are great, but afew months ago one of the assistants was having a hard time with another teacher so to get back at her she calles child services and she accused her of child abuse the police came, and the good thing that we have cameras in every classroom thats runing 24 houres, and they found nothing on the teacher. iam iam 100% sure that nothing is going on in the school. now my quition is.is their a low that protect the school and the teachers from people like this.we are in florida

Do you know it was her?  That's going to be the hard part in the intial part of this phase.

The second thing is to document how much money the situation cost you.  How many parents did you loose?  How did they find out about this accusation?

After that, you may be able to bring up a civil case against the person.

That's just my thinking on it.  However, do you want the publicity of such a case?  If everything is under the rug, let it go.  Persuing this may get you in the media and have it switched around to a headline such as "Molesting School Sues Former Employee for Blowing the Whistle."

Unless this is already a media spectacle, or unless you're losing a lot of business, drop it and just hope someone calls the school to check up on her reference.  Then you can let that person know about it.
