A question for any christians still left on this section?

I'm seriously thinking of giving up hope on this section of Y!A....its kind of pointless when the little voice we have on a religion based section is droned out by the overwhelming responses of athiests and others that say all the same things over and over......and over. So, really, why do the 10 percent left on here...just pack up and go? Or would the athiests get too bored yelling at eachother instead of at us?

I'm thinking about it, but then I think that they were just like me.  Besides a lot of them aren't thinking about anything very seriously, they just think it cool or fun or whatever to try and say the most insulting things about something they don't really want to understand.

dont take it to seriously. its just yahoo answers. and really, you should feel sorry for those poor pathetic souls. they dont beleive in GOD but they spend so much of their time on the religion section. theyll all tell you how happy they are to be liberated from religion but theyre miserable. they just want to bring us down with them. pray for them. they really need it.

Don't leave the section because of adversity. Christ faced more adversity on the day of His death and even before that fateful day. He stood up and was counted for the name of His Father, His own name and the name of His Holy Ghost. He didn't throw in the towel at the very thought of facing those so blinded by their material wealth they couldn't see the Divinity of Him that deemed us worthy to walk in His presence. If you quit now you will only leave the atheists and anyone else in disagreement with His Holy Name believing and relishing the fact that they are right, when you and I both know they are not.

Stand up and be counted, defend His Divine and Sacred Name. Be a soldier for Christ our Lord even if it is only here on the internet that you freely profess your faith. Give Him all the Glory and Praise, live the example Christ gave to us to live.

Don't throw in the towel now, that is the cowards way out, ask for courage and strength in your convictions and faith, through prayer, to strengthen your resolve to defend and do His will.

This isn't a community to make friends and give best answers to  people who just agree with everything you say.  This is a place to ask questions in regards to religion.  Even an atheist can give an answer which is based on scripture.  Just because one does not believe it to be true does not change the validity of the answer.  Perhaps you should follow the teachings of your prophet, and accept all.

Well, I've given up twice before. But come back and find a few Christians still here.

I really don't think yahoo ever really tried to police this section. I  believe they see it as a blood sport.

Yahoo could fix this  IF it was important to them.

Personally I do get really down about the hatred that many on here show.  It angers me when people mock the Lord God Almighty and his people.  But I feel that if through all this I am able to help one person on here come to a better understanding of who God is and what he has done for his people, it will be worthwhile.  

Also being here helps me understand the issues people have with Christianity so that I can then have a better idea about how to help them or others overcome these problems.

no Some Christians are really brainwashed into thinking they can actually save people that can think for them selves and don't need to believe in an unjust God or in religions that are so hate full towards other belief systems. And that is what makes this country so great I love Christians

I think the Christians should still stay, even though there's always overwhelming responses from atheists, having Christians allows for a spread of views.

If you were to leave though, atheists still wouldn't get bored. I don't think so at least.

I think many of us feel this way, and I'm sorry to say that I know of some who have just "packed up" and left. Others simply opt to create a new account as they are abused too much.

I think it's terribly sad that it has come to this and hope that we can all try to speak to each other about our differing beliefs in a sensible and civilised manner.

I don't think that we should just leave, because there are actually people out there who really need advice, I admit, it's difficult to tell the true ones from the "trolls" sometimes.

If we can help just one person to find or further their relationship with our Father, surely it's worth it?

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, unfortunately, some just don't accept that and must mock us. Don't let it get to you, I've had a hard time learning that, but we must try to co-operate with each other.

I write to only a few.  I try to really help, but many do not really want answers, but want to slash and burn Christians.  For them, I never waste my words, my hope for them.  

But there are a few where it really does help. For them, it may make a difference.  So, I read, and I choose.

I find myself saying the same s**t over and over and over in EVERY section of Yahoo Answers. It's because nobody bothers to search for similar questions before posting.

You know, when I talk about Christians being a******s I at least have the decency to point out that it's the fundamentalists or hardcore Christians that I'm referring to.

I don't "yell" and I don't come here to argue. I came to answer questions regarding religion (sort of like the same way I hang out in the skin care section to answer questions about skin care) and I don't answer questions that don't serve a meaningful purpose. The least you could do is make some effort to not lump me into the same category as the idiot trolls you dislike just because I happen to not be a theist.

Edit: I'm glad you got so much joy out of offending people and being a troll. Your parents must be so proud.

It's ironic that many christians bemoan the atheists in this section yet many invade other sections like the tattoo and LBGT sections to harass and promote lies, bigotry, hatred and intolerance
