A question for dating women... How do you feel...?

How do you feel a guy should approach you, say in a store, you have never meet him but you can tell he wants to talk to you?

What is the main thing you don't like guys to do when you first meet them and their is that awkward silence of two people trying to figure out what to say to one another? :)

The guy I ended up marrying didn't know me when he first sat down across from me on the bus.

What worked is he noticed something in my appearance and dress that gave him information about my life. In this case, it was the chef's uniform that told him I went to the nearby culinary school. So, since he couldn't talk about cooking (he's terrible at it), he started telling me funny stories about times he had tried to cook and failed. It had me laughing and at the same time showed me that he had an interest in who I was as a person. When we ran into each other on the bus after that, he was someone I wanted to talk to, someone I felt like I could open up to a bit. A few weeks later he asked me out on a date, and while I was surprised, I decided to say yes, because I enjoyed being around him.

What would have failed is if he'd come on sleazy or cheesy, or if he'd been wrapped up in telling me, not about himself as he thought it might relate to who I was, but about himself as he thought should impress "a girl". Also, if I hadn't been able to get a word in edgewise.

Well, I liked the way my current boyfriend started up our friendship. We were both out in the same club and he came up to me: "This is the second time I've seen you here." It was the second time I was in that club. We ended up talking for the rest of the night and have been close friends ever since, and since recently a couple too.

that happened to me a few times. it's always so awkward. i'm a shy person so i tend to mess it up. but you should be confident and ask her questions about herself, get to know her..

don't be cocky and ask her number right away... build it up.. talk to her first, wait til she feels comfortable talking to you, then say you have to go somewhere, but you'd love to talk to her.. ask for her number.. and tell her you'd call her soon.

is nice when guys try to get close to you & talk to you but is the way THAT he is going to do it

he has to be able to talk & not to be shy when he doces it!:).....

If he was handsome and a nice guy (not a player!!) then I'd be flattered by him approaching me.

One thing I'd hate for a guy to do is be rude. Whether its swearing or going off about something or just plain ol' rude... I don't want to hear any of it!!

same thing happen to me,there's a boy who i thoughtfully really likes me at first and i don't that,i just know that he likes me and want me be his girlfriend,he doesn't know to spell it out,so to give him courage i talked ti him just like a friend to make feel comfortable with me and he pass it.we couple just like everyone else but suddenly i found out the truth about him...he was actually likes my friend at first and wasn't me its really hurt me...for guys out there if you want help from girl just say it out but don't treat us like this.....its really hurt

I think about this all the time how I would want a guy to approach me without it beeing creepy. Just be respectful and introduce yourself. It may seem weird and awkward at first but if it is then you will most likley never see them again so its a win win and things could work out.
