Why do guys wear boxers when they going swimming?

like under there swimming trunks..

i've never understood that!

whats going to happen when another fella just comes over and shanks him? his wing-dang is just gonna be hangin! its extra protection so that doesnt happen. also, bathing suits rip up on really fast slides so that some stuff can be exposed. boxers prevent that as well. for me, i sometimes go with or without it. depends on who i go with and where im going

Hmm I usually don't do that too often. My guess is probably since trunks doubles as shorts, you still wear boxers under your shorts, so the same with your trunks.

O_o never heard of that before. I mean I have heard of some guys who just go swimming in their boxers but never wearing them under the swimming suit. Weird.

The ones I know where their basketball shorts in the pool and their boxers are still on.

Secondly some of their trunks are made of mesh!

I do for a couple reasons.

So if they slide down or whatever there's nothing to see.

So nobody can look up there and see things.

So my bathing suit doesn't stick to my legs.

So people don't think I am weird.

well i dont, and i dont think ive seen many, although at waterparks the fatter men tend to, i have no idea, but at the gym or ymca its the ones with boxers or briefs under their suits that dont take showers, maybe there is some connection?
