dont you find it amusing that manu fans are now banging on about history?

ive lost count of the number of times theyve moaned whenever any liverpool fan mentions history

and now, when city have the potential to overtake them, theyre all panicking and bringing up the subject of history!

lol could they be any more amusingly hypocritical?

That is because some of them will grasp at anything.  Take Chelsea for example - when Abramovich came to the club, they said Chelsea would never win the title and when they did, they then said they would never win back to back titles.  Chelsea managed it.  Then Manchester United fans were harping on about how Chelsea have no history blah blah blah.  

And yes, they are very unhappy about Manchester City.

It's all about nitpicking in any way you can it seems.  Right down to making fun of "Scousers".  I guess it's just a football thing (making fun of the others) to do though.

What i find amusing is that Liverpool have never won a league title in 16 attemps since the launch of the Premier League.

most people myself included have when talking of history and tradition included liverpool and arsenal in that group of teams who have but united also have a successful present thats the difference

@ S T the reason that we didnt have a parade was from a safety issue as when we won the treble over 1 million fans flooded the streets and the police were not able to cope. This time around the council were all for it but the police backed down from policing such a massive event.

BTW Mancunian born and bred and still a resident.

You've got to understand it from a Londoner's (Man U fans) point of view.  Theyve seen Liverpool parading trophy after trophy to a sea of fans for decades now.  Yet when John Terry gave them the European Cup to go with the Prem last season they returned home to a couple of press photographers at the airport.  They couldn't find enough fans in the city to have a victory parade and had to wait until their fans had packed their prawn sandwiches and driven up north in their BMW's.  If City win anything the real people of Manchester will flood the streets with celebrating fans and expose United for the rich mans glory boys cliche team that they are.
