  1. Hi,

The only thing that comes to my mind from your description of your bed time routine is that she might be going to bed with her stomach too full and still with wind. I know she has a twin, but like you know every child is different. My oldest daughter didn't have to be winded from 5 month and my now 7 month youngest still needs to be, sometimes 2 or 3 times after a meal.

I would try and give her an early dinner (a couple of hours before bedtime) and just the bottle before she goes to sleep. I would also bath her before giving her the bottle. Sometimes bathing a baby with a full belly can upset their digestion.

Please don't let her cry. I'm also a mother to 3 young children and i know how tiring it is, but hang in there and just try to do some research into what is causing this. Your baby is way too young to be causing this on purpose, so there has to be something really upsetting her.

To me it sounds like indigestion.

    Good luck!

  3. I would actually let a pediatrician know that she is doing this, it could be something that isnt agreeing with her.  Are you giving her formula?  It could be that she is lactose intolerant.  She also could be crying so much that she gets too much mucus in her throat which in turn makes her cough and gag so she throws up.  My son was one to throw up for anything, eating mashed potatoes made him throw him, coughing made him throw up.  She could just be very sensative to her gag reflexes but to ease your mind I would ask her doctor.

  4. A 7 month old does not have the mental capacity to do anything on purpose.  Do you really believe that?

I would suspect it's acid reflux.  It can be very painful.  Take her to the pediatrician, they can prescribe a medication that will help her.

And no it's not good to make your child cry themselves to sleep at night.  Can you imagine being a helpless being and come to the realization that your mother was not going to comfort you when you hurt?
