Question:

A question for my fellow Christian's, have you ever had a time in your life when you questioned if.....?

If God was really there? Lately I have been questioning if there really is a God and it's bothering me. I have been a christian ever since I was 10 and I am 24 now. Any advice for me?

Remember Atheists, I am asking this question for Christians.

I never questioned whether He was there, but it seemed sometimes that He was far, far away. I believe those were my own doubts and insecurities. God will never fail us, but we will go through trials and tribulations. We must just have faith that our Lord will bring us through. The Devil is alive and well on this planet and will do anything he can to make us doubt our salvation. God promised He would never put more on us than we can handle, if we just trust in Him. Well, it is good to question your faith. It is healthy to have questions because it is a really hard concept to grasp, no matter how long you have been Christian. I have been a Catholic for 15 years now, I have gone to Catholic schools my whole life. I have questioned my faith a ton, but everytime I came back with a stronger belief. You really just need to think about it, pray about it. I am usually brought back by God himself. He does something, a small something, that shows me personally that He is there. He does this upon my prayer. Ask Him for a small sign to tell you He is there. Beleive me, He is and He is listening. So when the time is right, there will be a sign that only you recognise as God.

how are you going to know if there is/isn't a god what was his/her nature is if you only ask one group?

If I am wondering which band is the best and I go to a Metallica concert to get my answer....well the bias is really gonna stand strong.

I'm totally not getting on your case, or accusing you of being stupid or anything. I think your question is really valid and definitely worthwhile. I'm just saying maybe you want to look around at what other people believe.
