A question for non vegetarians?

Well I'm a vegetarian, my family is. I was just wondering if non-vegetarians are aware that animals are a living lifeform and do you not feel guilty while eating that a life had been killed just so you can fill your appetite?

  1. NEWSFLASH:  Plants are also living life forms, so if you eat plants to stay alive you should also feel guilty while eating a life that has been killed just so you can fill your appetite.

You're a typical example of a "holier-than-thou" vegetarian.  If you want to subsist entirely on plants that's fine.  Just don't pass judgment on those who eat meat.  Your assertion that vegetarians are somehow superior to meat-eaters is your opinion (and it happens to be wrong, by the way...)

  2. Well I figure that vegetarians are the cruel ones, those cows and piggys can run and try to get away, those plants are stuck there in the ground. Seriously I don't feel guilty at all. Those animals are here for us to eat. Its called being on top of the food chain.

  3. Does a lion feel guilty for eating a zebra?

Do you feel guilty about a lion eating a zebra?

We don't care about the decisions you make, so please leave us alone.

  4. Biblically which is the way I personally live my life, God created animals for human enjoyment. Now if it is my enjoyment to use said animal for delicious nourishment then that animal has completed it's purpose on Earth.

  5. I'm aware that animals are a "living lifeform" and no, I don't feel guilty eating meat.

  6. Animals were put here for our use.  It is extremely difficult to have a healthy nutritionally-balanced diet as a complete vegan.

Do you not use any products made from leather or other animal sources whatsover?  What about soaps, glues, etc?

Furthermore, if you work in an industry that in anyway processes, prepares, or sells food, or a retailer that sells leather or other animal-based products, then you are profiting from the killing of animals for someone's appetite.  Also, do you want to help find jobs for all the farmers and meat industry folks you would put out of business if your viewpoint somehow became the norm (or was made mandatory?)

If you choose to be a vegetarian or vegan, that's fine, I won't presume to try to talk you out of it or judge you for it.  But don't kid yourself that somehow you are going to change the world by making normal omnivore people feel guilty.  I worship the Creator not the creation and I know He intended animals for our use and consumption.

  7. Are you aware that plants are a living lifeform, differing from animals only in the fact that they move slowly?

Do you not feel cowardly for sneaking up on defenseless plants instead of animals that can fight back or run away?

Are you aware that vegetarianism is a form of selective anorexia, and that vegetarians live shorter lives?

Are you aware that vegetarians contribute to global warming because of all the greenhouse gasses they emit?

Are you not embarassed by the foul body odor common to  vegetarians?

  8. No, God, never said we had to be vegetarians, that is a mater of free choice.

If you want to take the number of pills you need to make up for the lack of protein and such by not being a flesh eater, fine.

Do not judge or lecture us.

Just as the native Americans did, a good hunter only takes that which is necessary to sustain life, and not kill for trophy.

  9. so are plants... do you not eat bread or vegetables either?

  10. it's like the cycle of life...And no i don't feel guilty

  11. No. When you are eating you don't think at all. The only thing you think about is filling your stomach.

  12. I was not aware of that.

  13. I don't feel guilty.  Sry.  I respect your views I just don't live by the same philosophy.

  14. vegetarian aren´t u aware that plants are also lifeforms so arent u killing something?

its the same only because they are animals which are close to us does mean plants arent alive also. Plus its more natural for humans to eat veggies and meat.
