a question for ontario high school 40 hours community involvment

Question Details: i was wondering when the deadline to hand in the 40hours of volunteer hours to the school guidance, i heard from ppl, they said that it is due around mid april, because thats the second mark transmmision(or personal profile update) to the university

and if u havent completed the 40 hours, u wont be able to get an "conditional" offer for the universities , is this true? what if i hand in my 40hours in mid may, will university still give me an conditional offer? im currently in grade 11, but i just want to get as much volunteer hours as i can...maybe around 500hours
