A question for people who have had there appendix taken out.

Ok, so i have a stomach pains for 6 months and i always though it was constipation. Friday night the pain was unbearable so i decided to go to the ER, surely enough it was my appendix. they did surgery that night/morning. I was just wondering how long the incision was sore after surgery and if you had any problems at all. Also if anyone knows about any programs that can help pay for medical as im only 19 and my health insurance ran out when i turned 18. :/ thanks in advance!

I think it depends on the person. I had mine taken out when I was like 5(I'm 20 now). From what I remember, I was back to normal about a week after I was released from the hospital. I really couldn't tell you about the medical bills though. Sorry.
