A question for people who speak 3 or more languages?

How strong is your LAST language? Do you make a lot of mistakes when speaking it?

My mother tongue is called Minang language, it's an ethnic language in Indonesia, and I'm sure there isn't a version of War and Peace in Minang for it's not a written language :p

My second language is Indonesian, and even though I haven't read War and Peace in Indonesian, I'm confident about doing it :)

My third language would be English, and yes, I can read the book in English.

My fourth language is Korean. I speak rather fluent, but I still make lots of grammatical mistakes - but basically I don't really care coz I'm simply using Korean language to communicate, not to work or study, so it doesn't really matter coz when I converse in Korean, people can't hardly tell I'm not Korean :p I can read a book in Korean, if it's of general topic. I am pretty sure I'd still have to check dictionary if I'd want to read War and Peace in Korean though..

the first two languages I speak well, write and read also. third  and fourth average

fifth can speak and write, reading a book and understand is poor.

Yes I make quite a few mistakes in my 'last' language/dialect, which is Tagalog.

I knew Japanese and German before it, which aren't related to it so it makes it a lot more difficult! (-_-") Plus I'm 15 and have not yet had the chance to live in the Phillipines, so I'm obviously NOWHERE near a native speaker...

I could probably read most of War and Peace in Japanese and German, but I haven't yet read it in my native language which is English, so I don't know lol. (=^_^=)

Although, my mother is german and my father japanese but I live in england so those languages were a LOT easier for me.

I've been studying Tagalog for 2 years and can have a decent (yet broken) conversation with it...This one's definately going to take me many years to get T_T...

My fourth language is English and I wouldn't say I'm fluent in it, but I guess you can say I do pretty good.  I don't think I make a lot of mistakes when speaking it.  Maybe sometimes I'll mispronounce a word  or sometimes people won't understand me when I speak because of my accent.  My accent is somewhere between a Russian and an asian one... haha.  When it comes to writing, listening, and reading though, I do very well.

Well, I speak German, Danish and English fluently and am learning Japanese. In writing, I hardly make any mistakes in any of them. In speech, I need a bit of "warming up" before my Danish really flows, but I don't make many mistakes there either; I just can't think of the right ways to say things for the first odd five minutes. With English, I have next to no conversational experience, but since I can think well in English, I think I could have a conversation in English without any problems. As for Japanese, well - I'm still learning it so I naturally make mistakes now and then.

well i speak three languages: arabic, french and english wich is my third one and we can say i'm doing pretty well in it

My 3rd language is ok... I don't have to speak it alot so when i do i mix things up and even though I'm my head i know exactly what to say the lack of practice makes me mess up alot. But since my second language is Portuguese Learning Spanish(my 3rd) was really easy to learn.

I could read a translation of War and Peace in it.

My second language is French, I still make a fair number of mistakes in it--although not so much mistakes, I think, as awkward wording. I've tried to read Madame Bovary, but haven't got through it.

My third language is German, I make more mistakes and often stop in the middle of a sentence because I have no idea what word I should use. I also have trouble understanding spoken German. I've read one real book in German, Das Versprechen by Dürrenmatt, and when I read it later in English, I found I had understood almost everything.

I can't imagine reading War and Peace in anything but English, or, if I wanted a new language challenge, in Russian.
