also the bar clicks around my teeth alot when im eating and sometimes (very rarely) clicks of my bottom teeth when i talk? did you have the same problem, and when you changed it to a smaller bar did it make a difference?

  1. When I had mine done, it took about a week for the swelling to go away. Mine was alway hitting my teeth and I talked funny. Yes, when I changed the bar bell to a smaller size, it did help. Good luck  :)

  2. swelling went mainly down after a week-10days

but i could eat after 4 or 5

drinking hot drinks actually helped swelling in my case

    and of course ice

and no i didn't have that problem but the bar you get it changed with is a lot smaller which should definately help that problem

  3. about 2 and a half weeks, but mine sounds like it was a lot more swollen than yours.

  4. Also consider getting a plastic barbell and ends until you're used to it being in your mouth.  You can (and will) chip the heck out of your teeth if you don't.  I had one for several years, and still have several chips in my mollars now.

  5. mine never did swell too bad to begin with, i would suggest slurpees drinking lots of slurpees, that's what i did and it kept it down really well. changing out to a smaller bar when you can will help alot with it clanking on your teeth, and it will also make eating easier. you'll get used to everything don't worry.

  6. I've got 2 off-centre tongue piercings, they swelled massively but it went down after a week and I had the bars changed down by my piercer. I had to change them down further a few months down the line. If you haven't had the massive bar you were pierced with changed down already you should. Get a bar short enough that it fits snugly but not so short that it feels tight. That should stop the clicking.

  7. it will be a lot beta if u put a smaller 1 in.i swear by the shorter 1s and plastic bar and balls.
